Thanks for visiting! If you've ever thought of going natural you're like most African American women. I decided to go natural in 1999 and then again in 2001 and then finally decided to get locs in 2008. I thought that getting locs was too much of a commitment and that because I liked changing up my hair so much that I'd never be able to follow through.
Boy was I wrong. I learned that there's never a right time to get locs or to make any leap that is worthwhile to you.
This blog is about my journey through the "Braidlocks" process. I plan to provide as much valuable information as possible for those that are interested in learning more even if they're not interested in getting locs. There is a huge misunderstanding among people when it comes to African American hair. Hopefully I'll shed some light.
